Category:Unidentified trucks in Poland[edit]
Witaj!
Czy jesteś całkowicie przekonany do racji bytu tej podkategorii? Zaczynające się od Unidentified mają służyć tym, którzy potrafiliby rozpoznać żywą istotę lub przedmiot. Jeśli podkategoryzować to raczej według zastosowania pojazdów. Oddzielnie typowo rodzinne, oddzielnie coś co wygląda na śmieciarkę... Pozdr. --Starscream (talk) 21:34, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

Category:Buses in Týnec nad Sázavou[edit]
Please, try to keep number of categories within reasonable bounds. The category Buses in Týnec nad Sázavou is redundant - Týnec nad Sázavou is a very small city and has not its own system of urban transport. Buses photographed there are categorized by operator, by transport system (PID) and by bus station (Category:Týnec nad Sázavou, bus station) - what makes sense to add the category Category:Buses in Týnec nad Sázavou? --ŠJů (talk) 04:14, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Category:Mercedes-Benz chassis buses[edit]
Hello!
Can you write a short description at the head of this category? Per COM:CAT, categories need a short description for their purposes. In this specific case, you could write two sentences about the difference between Category:Mercedes-Benz chassis and Category:Mercedes-Benz buses: using {{en|...}}. Thank you for your support! Thanks[edit]
After I returned from Wikiexpedition on 31st July, I countinued to travel through Europe. So I have many pictures, but no time. I uploaded all I could from the first two days (and I hope I will do the rest very soon), but unfortunately there is not enough time for description and categories (I hope I will do this during november and december). So thank you for your categorization, especially categorization of buses - like this one - you helped me a lot. For me it would be terrible work :-) --Aktron (talk) 10:06, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Bus catting[edit]
Hi Mark. A couple of things. I notice you've been adding cats to UK bus images that have been cropped - ie those in Category:Cropped UK bus images. As per the category's description, I had intended that if a bus image has been cropped the source image doesn't need full categorising, to avoid unecessary duplication. Eg there's not much point having both this and this in the single deck coach cat, etc. So if you don't mind I'd like to remove the extra cats on cropped source images.
Secondly, I notice you created Category:Full-size buses in the United Kingdom and have already put some images in it (Van Hools?), but personally I don't see what it adds over and above what was already in the cat structure of Category:Buses in the United Kingdom by type, as explained in its description. Ie what's the difference for example between a single deck coach and a full size bus (bearing in mind the UK type tree has branches for midi and mini coaches), such that we need both cats on one image, as happens in the above example. If a 'full size' cat is needed for consistency with the other countries, I suggest it only needs to be a holder for the categories that already covered whatever 'full size' is being defined as here. Is it just a different name for any full length rigid? If so, do you mind if I empty that cat and just add it to the single/double deck buses/coaches cats (which as said, should currently only contain lengths above 'midi' size).

empty or not empty[edit]
Cześć, Marek. I first wondered about your revert because this page exists since 2009, and I didn't change anything when reverting your revert, so I can only guess that something must have been broken the time you clicked the link ;-) Anyway, that was likely due to the global interwiki failure and following caching problems. --:bdk: 02:55, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
Bimet[edit]
Hi.
- I'm pretty new to the world of bus bodywork makers in Argentina so I do not know if I am right. Reading the web site I see that the name of the company seems to be "Carrocerías Bimet S.A." made by another company named "Centro Carrocero Corwin S.A." (this is probably the result of a company fusion or something like that). The only place where I see the Bi-Met spelling is in the name of the bus models and on the picture you are pointing out. In Google it seems to appear more times referred as Bimet than Bi-Met. I think that this problem is related to poor brand management by the company and there is not a clear answer. We should ask them directly. I favor the name "Bimet". However, If you think that the category should be renamed, just feel free to do it.

"Buses in London"[edit]
Regarding this image and Category:Buses in London. I am well aware the image was taken 'in London' - the reason I am removing the category is that the image has nothing whatsover to do with 'buses in London', it's just a random private coach that just happened to be there at that time. Under the current system for categorising UK buses by location, this is not an image that currently gets a location category - those are reserved for cases where it makes sense, ie where the location is likely to mean something to the image such as for local public transport routes, local tour operators, or regularly scheduled long distance coach services. If you disagree with this logic then fair enough, but I can guarantee that is how it has been done so far, so there's no point trying to change it for just one image, all that does it make it look like an odd one out. And if you really want to add locations to all these other images which don't currently have one, I would say it's better do it using separate categories, such as 'visiting coaches in London', instead of lumping in buses regularly seen in London alongside random visitors. Categorization[edit]
Marek, I appreciate the desire for grouping all Brazilian-built VW Gols (for instance) together, but it is often impossible to tell where the car is built, which onl leads to photos becoming very hard to find as they are unnecessarily splintered over several often hard to locate categories. This Gol for instance, is raced in Uruguay but may very well be built in Brazil. I think it is better to group all of the Gols together, and having Gol listed in VW do Brazil as well as other pertinent categories. Best, Mr.choppers (talk) 05:05, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- I now see that you only made this split because MB-One rejected the idea of listing VW Gol in both the VW BR and the VW RA categories - well, I believe he was wrong and you were right, so I have restored the logical status quo. Speak to me if you have any concerns, and best regards, Mr.choppers (talk) 05:18, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Mercedes-Benz OF 1418[edit]
Hey Marek, in regards to the Category:Mercedes-Benz OF 1418, the Mercedes-Benz OF 1418 chassis are made in Argentina, the bodies may be made in Brazil, here Daimler corporate web site → article Mercedes-Benz Argentina for your reference. Kind regards. — Moebiusuibeom-en (talk) 00:11, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
- Marek, supposedly the chasis are made in Argentina and exported to Brazil in CDK form, here data → Mercedes-Benz Argentina S.A.. Adjustments should be made to also include Argentina- Category:Mercedes-Benz chassis buses (Argentina) — Moebiusuibeom-en (talk) 00:42, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, you've got the precise data, nevertheless, i have the understanding that Brazil usually does engine while Argentina generally the chasis, both Mercedes Brazil and Argentina work in conjunction in the production of vehicles, so does Ford and probably others, within the Common Market Group, Mercosur, where do they put them together?, almost certainly in either countries!
- Hey listen, if you be so kind, could you finish entering data or correcting same of the following page: Mercedes-Benz OF → es - Kind regards Moebiusuibeom-en (talk) 15:57, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Hello!
The Category:Astra Iveco vehicles was named incorrectly. The correct category name would be just Category:Astra vehicles or Category:Iveco-Astra vehicles [per http://www.astraspa.com/ING/home.asp]. Or did I miss something? --High Contrast (talk) 12:45, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
Policyjny Autosan H7 Solina[edit]
Witam.

Pozdrawiam! Lowdown (talk) 09:16, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
